Town Hall is located on Highway 231 South of the caution light.  The Rockford Police Department, Mayor's Office, Town Clerk, Rockford Water Department and the Rockford Library are located here.  To contact Town Hall, call 256-377-4911 or by mail at PO Box 128 Rockford, Alabama 35136-0128.

County Government

Rockford is the county seat of Coosa County.  Here you will find the Coosa County Courthouse with the offices of the Probate Judge, Tax Assessor, Circuit Clerk and County Commissioners.  We also have other offices-the County Extension Service, Emergency Management and Juvenile Probation Officer. 

The Coosa County Sheriff's Office and County Jail are located on School Street.

The Coosa County Board of Education is located in the Fielding Center, located on Nixburg Road.

Located in Rockford are the state offices, which serve the county.  These include the Coosa County Health Department, and the Department of Human Resources.


County Education

Education in Coosa County is managed by the Coosa County Board of Education.   Coosa Central Elementary School, Middle School and High School are located in Hanover, 10 miles North of Rockford on Alabama Highway 231.
